As the beginning of the school year rushes toward us, I know that every teacher is planning and preparing their strategy for successfully reaching our students. It's a big undertaking, no doubt!
We know that effective teachers are intentionally aware of the impact we have on our students and are routinely reflecting on our strategies and lessons.
One very quick and easy way to know if your students are comprehending the lessons you're teaching is by using exit tickets!
Exit tickets allow your students some independent reflection time to figure out and express whether or not they know what in the world is going on. Then you get a chance to reflect on their comprehension and how to proceed accordingly.
