Last weekend, our family and friends got together to celebrate Charlie Grace! My sweet sister-in-law organized and hosted, but I got to help with the planning & design! I know it's not traditional to help with your own shower, but since Brittany and I have a little event planning company together, and because it's what I love to do, it makes sense!
Here are a few of the sweet details from the event!
In the living room, we used Charlie's nursery chair & ottoman {more details on that in the Nursery Reveal!}, her cradle for collecting gifts, and a crate for the books she received. These sweet inserts are my new favorite thing for birthday and shower invites! Charlie's book crate was over-filled with perfect, sweet books to start her library off right!

The dessert and food tables were outsite. Unfortunately, it was too hot to really enjoy, so we eneded up being inside, but it sure did look cute!
I bought this vanity from a thrift store & painted it for my guest bedroom. Turns out it also made a really sweet dessert table for our BBQ! Most of the ideas & details for this display are pinned on a special board we created for this event!
Instead of cheesy shower games, we had outdoor games like corn hole and giant Jenga! Of course, we wanted to have something a little more traditional too, so we added in some sentimental activities for those who cared to participate.
How absolutely adorable! Can you (and your sister-in-law) come decorate my house, please? Sister needs some helpppp! ;) That first picture you have of the sign welcoming everyone--did you do that lettering? It's fantastic! I can't wait to see pictures of your little mama when she arrives. :)

The 4th Grade Journey
Thank you so much, Mandy! I love all the cutesy stuff. Ironically enough, my house is NOT CUTE! We bought a reno house before we had Beckett and it has been a SLOOOOW process. We barely have any decor. We don't even have FLOORS in some rooms!! It's an adventure for sure. :)
DeleteYes, I did do the lettering on the chalkboard but I cheated! I use the computer to design the wording, and then use a projector & trace it on the chalk board! :) Gotta love teacher tricks!
Thanks for stopping by!
This was the most adorable BabyQue I've ever seen!! You and your sister-in-law are amazing!!
